The honeymoon special episode is inspired by an original idea from the manga's author, Negi Haruba (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!). It shows a glimpse into Futaro and the quintuplets' adult lives, revealing what their lives are like after the main events of the story.
Synopsis The Quintessential Quintuplets:
The story revolves around the life of Futaro Uesugi, a financially struggling high school student. He is hired as a private tutor for the Nakano sisters, identical quintuplets who have below-average academic performance. However, the story unfolds around Futaro's efforts to help the sisters improve their grades and prepare for their university entrance exams.
Finally, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and had 12 episodes. Furthermore, the second season of the anime aired from January to March 2021.
