Therefore, The Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotoubun no Hanayome) premieres on September 20, 2024 in theaters in Japan.

The honeymoon special is inspired by an original idea by manga author Negi Haruba (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!). It provides a glimpse into Futaro and the quintuplets' adult lives, revealing what their lives are like after the story's main events.

Synopsis The Quintessential Quintuplets:

The story revolves around the life of Futaro Uesugi, a high school student struggling financially. He's hired as a private tutor for the Nakano sisters, identical quintuplets whose academic performance is below average. However, the story revolves around Futaro's efforts to help the sisters improve their grades and prepare for their university entrance exams.

Finally, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and had 12 episodes. The second season of the anime aired from January to March 2021.
