Recently, some images from the anime The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim were released by the website EW (Entertainment Weekly). Therefore, fans can now find out about the official synopsis.

The War of the Rohirrim adapts a story from Tolkien's books, set 200 years before the events of the film trilogy. We are introduced to the protagonist Hèra (voiced by Gaia Wise), who didn't even have a name in the original story.
Synopsis of The War of the Rohirrim:
“The story of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim tells the tale of the fate of House Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord seeking revenge for his father's death, forces Helm and his people to make a final, daring stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg – a powerful stronghold that would later be known as Helm's Deep. Finding themselves in an increasingly desperate situation, Hera, Helm's daughter, must find the strength to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy determined to destroy them completely.”
Finally, directed by Kenji Kamiyamaand produced by Joseph Chou (Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045). Furthermore, the film premieres in theaters on December 13, 2024.
