The official website anime adaptation of the manga Idaten Deities in the Peaceful Generation has released a new trailer. The video reveals some of the anime's voice actors, the staff, and the premiere date, which will be July 22nd .

Seimei Kidokoro will direct the anime in conjunction with studio MAPPA , while Hiroshi Seko is responsible for the script and composition. Nao Ootsu is in charge of character design.
Synopsis
Demons are driving humanity to the brink of extinction, leaving the gods with no choice but to intervene. The deities known as "Idaten" fought against the demons 800 years ago and managed to seal them away. The Idaten of today have no combat experience, but continue to live peacefully alongside humans. When the demons are revived, it will be time for the Idaten to return to the customs of their ancestors…
The manga adaptation of Idaten Deities in the Peaceful Generation began serialization in Young Animal in August 2018.
