The anime The World Is Dancing has released its final trailer ahead of its Japanese premiere. In addition to new scenes, the video revealed the ending theme song “Unnamed Flower,” performed by the band hockrockb, and confirmed the addition of new cast members.

New names strengthen the cast
Among the characters announced for the anime The World Is Dancing is Yoriyuki Hosokawa, vice-shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate and a profound connoisseur of the performing arts, voiced by Kenichirō Matsuda. However, members of the traditional Kanze troupe were also revealed, expanding the core connected to theater and performances that shape the narrative.
The adaptation will premiere on Japanese television on July 2, 2026, but will have an early showing on the Japanese streaming service Amazon Prime Video on June 29. The HIDIVE will also stream the first episode before the official TV broadcast.
Story of the anime The World Is Dancing
The story takes place in 1374 and follows Oniyasha, a young man born into a family of sarugaku theater artists. After witnessing a performance that deeply impresses him, he begins a journey that will lead him to become Zeami, a historical figure responsible for transforming the art of Noh theater in Japan.
Produced by Cygames Pictures, the anime The World Is Dancing adapts the manga by Kazuto Mihara, published by Kodansha between 2021 and 2022. However, the direction is by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, while Keigo Sasaki is responsible for the character design.
