On August 19th, the Weekly Shonen Jump YouTube channel announced the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga with only five chapters remaining. This announcement surprised many fans, as the series is one of the magazine's most successful, with over 90 million copies sold worldwide.
Although on August 5th, Boku no Hero Academia also concluded its serialization, being another series that served as a flagship for the magazine. These endings join other notable ones, such as that of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , which ended in May 2020.
