My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Josei Jishin magazine conducted a survey among men aged 30 to 40 to assess the worst and most disappointing endings of manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014.

On August 19th, the Weekly Shonen Jump YouTube channel announced the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga with only five chapters remaining. This announcement surprised many fans, as the series is one of the magazine's most successful, with over 90 million copies sold worldwide.

Although on August 5th, Boku no Hero Academia also concluded its serialization, being another series that served as a flagship for the magazine. These endings join other notable ones, such as that of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , which ended in May 2020.

However, amidst this transition, Josei Jishin decided to investigate readers' opinions on manga endings. Therefore, the magazine interviewed men in their 30s and 40s, a demographic group that had followed many of these series from the beginning. The question was simple, but direct: "Which work do you think had a disappointing ending?"
