My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

As the anime premieres, we bring you all the details about the individual characters from the Spy x Family anime so you can get to know each of them.

Loid is a spy with extraordinary combat, memory, and information processing abilities. He uses various identities to carry out his missions, although he is known by the codename "Twilight" within his secret organization. To carry out his newest mission, he needs to pose as a father and have a "son" enrolled in a prestigious school whose admission criteria involve the presence of "both parents." To meet this criterion, he created a fake family, with Anya as his daughter and Yor as his wife.

2. Your Forger

Appearing as an employee at the Berlint city hall, Yor is actually a skilled assassin nicknamed "Thorn Princess." She also used the maiden name Yor before "marrying" Loid. She is 27 years old and, unaware of Loid's true identity, and believing Anya to be Loid's daughter from a previous marriage, she agreed to the fake marriage to avoid pressure from her coworkers.

3. Anya Forger

In short, Anya is a girl who can read other people's minds. A guinea pig in scientific experiments, she escapes after scientists deem her an experimental failure. After going through several orphanages, she convinces Loid to adopt her when he goes looking for a child for his mission. She is only four and a half years old, but lied about being six so Loid would adopt her. Due to her ability, Anya becomes confused when exposed to crowds.

Therefore, Kazuhiro Furuhashi is directing the anime at Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Meanwhile, Kazuaki Shimada is designing the characters, and [K] NoW_NAME is the music producer.

Synopsis:

The story of this unusual family revolves around the master spy codenamed "Twilight," who spent his days on secret missions, all for the dream of a better world. But one day, he receives a particularly difficult new order from headquarters. For his mission, he must form a temporary family and start a new life?! A spy/action/comedy about a unique family!

The work is based on the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It has been available for free every two weeks on the Shōnen Jump+ and Manga Plus since March 25, 2019, with chapters compiled and published in tankōbon by Shueisha.

Finally, Crunchyroll will stream the SPY × FAMILY anime as soon as the episodes air in Japan.
