Toei Animation is one of the largest animation companies in Japan, and anime series are in high demand in the entertainment market today. Therefore, Toei has planned to make a larger investment in its franchises by 2033 to expand the company's profits in the global market.

Toei is responsible for animating classic anime such as Digimon Adventure , Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya , and One Piece . The company noticed the increased demand for anime in recent years, so they began investing in global distribution to cinemas. Their latest anime releases for cinemas were One Piece: RED and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero , which were the company's highest-grossing films in the global market in 2022.
Toei now has a strategic plan to take its productions even further over the next ten years. The plan doesn't just encompass anime, as they are also willing to invest in live-action productions, such as Power Rangers: Now and Forever and Saint Seiya: The Beginning .
