Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse animation has shown what it's all about. With incredible visuals and movements that immediately recall reading the comics, the second trailer reveals a bit more of the story. To the surprise of the video, which mixes the Spider-Man multiverses, the character Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) makes a surprise appearance.
The story of the Spider-Verse movie follows Miles Morales as he encounters Peter, who is currently not the teenager we're used to seeing. He's an older superhero, at the end of his career, so he has a very different perspective on what it means to be a superhero.
The film is directed by Peter Ramsey, who also worked on (Rise of the Guardians) in 2012. The official release is entirely handled by Sony and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 14, 2018.
