Uzaki-chan – The manga has 1.7 million copies sold

It was revealed via the official Twitter account that the manga Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) has surpassed 1.7 million copies in circulation.

Uzaki-chan began publication in December 2017. The 6th volume will be released on March 9th, having been ranked among the top 20 web manga in the Da Vinci and Niconico Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards in 2018.

In addition, the work received an anime in 2020 with 12 episodes. A second season has been announced, but without a release date yet.

Finally, the animation is by studio ENGI (Kemono Michi: Rise Up), directed by Kazuya Miura (Kemono Michi: Rise Up, DRAMAtical Murder), with character designs by Manabu Kurihara.
