The official website for the anime Valkyrie Drive – Mermaid – has released a new trailer. The series premieres on October 10th on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi.
The anime's story takes place on five artificial islands. Mamori Tokonome is transferred to one of these islands, where she is attacked and a newly transferred girl named Mirei saves her. But the enemy doesn't stop, and the two are cornered. They had already lost all hope, but then Mirei kisses Mamori, who transforms into a sword. Mirei wields the sword and launches a counterattack against her enemies
The film is directed by "Hiraku Kaneko," who works with studio ARMS (Himawari!, Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny).
