Hollywood news site The Wrap reported that Warner Bros. set release dates for Godzilla 2 and Godzilla vs. Kong .
Godzilla 2 is scheduled for March 22, 2019, previously scheduled for June 8, 2018. Godzilla vs Kong is now scheduled for May 29, 2020.
The studios' intention is to create a shared universe between the monsters, starting with Kong: Skull Island, a film from Legendary Pictures with Warner , which will make reference to the Japanese monster in 2017. Godzilla 2 now in 2019, and then bringing the creatures together in Godzilla vsKong .
