Fans can rejoice, as the light novel WataNare ( Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wakenaijan, Muri Muri! or Muri Janakatta!? ) is finally getting its long-awaited anime adaptation. Furthermore, a trailer and promotional image have already been revealed, further increasing anticipation for the release.
Therefore, the WataNare will premiere in the summer 2025 season, animated by Studio MOTHER.

Synopsis WataNare :
"I'm going to have the perfect school life!" Rena Amori decides to completely change her life when she enters high school, after spending her adolescence as a loner. She dreams of living like a popular young woman with lots of friends, but her introverted personality almost suffocates her in this new environment.
WataNare is a Japanese yuri light novel series written by Teren Mikami and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. Shueisha has released six volumes since February 2020 under its Dash X Bunko imprint. However, a manga adaptation with art by Musshu was launched in Niconico Seiga's Dash X Comic section in May 2020. Furthermore, the manga has also been licensed in Brazil by Panini.
