Dragon Ball Daima has reached its conclusion, and the final episode promises to be a huge blast for fans of the franchise. Originally, the series wasn't planned as part of the Dragon Ball 40th anniversary celebrations, but it ended up becoming a special gift for fans.
- Maerchen Crown: New manga announced by the author of Oshi no Ko
- Gundam GQuuuuuuX: Anime gets a release date
With the supervision of the late Akira Toriyama, this was one of the last stories created by the master, full of twists and surprises that redefined the Dragon Ball universe as we know it.

Since its debut last fall, Dragon Ball Daima has surprised with each episode, bringing significant changes to how we perceive the world of Goku and his friends. The climax of the plot came with the final battle against the Supreme Demon King Gomah, and now the ending promises to surpass all expectations. The final episode is about to arrive, and it's time to prepare for the grand finale!
episodeRelease date of 20 of Dragon Ball Daima

Titled “Maximum,” episode 20 of Dragon Ball Daima is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 28, 2025. Fans will be able to watch the new episode on Crunchyroll and Hulu, with a later release on Netflix a week later. The English dubbed version does not yet have a confirmed date, but will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll when it arrives.
- 11:45 AM (New York time / EST)
- 8:45 AM (Pacific Time / PST)
- 4:45 PM (London time / GMT)
The final episode will conclude the battle against the Supreme Demon King Gomah and, hopefully, bring the journey through the Demon Realm to a satisfying close. Since the series takes place before the events of Dragon Ball Super, it's unlikely we'll see these new characters in future projects for quite some time. Therefore, this will truly be the end of an era.
What to expect from the ending of the Daima anime?

Episode 19 brought two big surprises to fans: Glorio using the Demon Realm Dragon Balls to transform Goku and the others back into adults, and the debut of the new transformations at their maximum potential. We saw Vegeta as Super Saiyan 3 and, finally, Goku as Super Saiyan 4 in his adult form – something that left fans excited.
Now, episode 20 promises to show Goku as a Super Saiyan 4 in action in the official Dragon Ball canon for the first time. Toriyama oversaw this transformation, previously exclusive to Dragon Ball GT and other non-canonical media, and integrated it into the official timeline. With the series ending before the events of Dragon Ball Super, this is just the first step towards the power levels that fans know and love.
