Studio CloverWorks has announced the production of the original anime Wonder Egg Priority, with NTV and DN Dream Partners collaborating with Aniplex for the first time. The anime will premiere in January 2021.

Shin Wakaba will direct the anime at CloverWorks. Screenwriter Shinji Nojima is credited with the original work; this project marks his first time writing for an anime. Saki Takahashi (animation director on Plastic Memories) is the animation designer and also chief animation director, while Hiroyuki Ueno and Nobuhiro Nakayama are the planning producers.
Furthermore, the anime does not yet have a synopsis, only the Slice of Life genre. Additionally, CloverWorks was part of A-1 Pictures, but they separated in October 2018, although it remains a subsidiary of Aniplex.
