Wonder Egg Priority – Trailer reveals cast, staff, and release date

The anime Wonder Egg Priority, an original series from CloverWorks , has revealed a new trailer showcasing the cast, staff, theme song artists, and its January 12th premiere date. The official website also revealed a new visual.

Synopsis

The anime's story begins when the protagonist, a 14-year-old girl named Ai Ohto, hears a mysterious voice while walking through the city late at night. It gives her an egg and says, "If you wish to change the future, you only need to choose now. Now, believe in yourself and break the egg."

 

Cast

Kanata Aikawa voices Ai Ohto, a 14-year-old girl with heterochromia. Due to a certain event, she is temporarily absent from school.

Tomori Kusunoki as Neiru Aonuma, a 14-year-old girl with a very distinct skin tone and braids. She is very quiet most of the time and doesn't take the initiative to meet people.

Shuka Saitou voices Rika Kawai, a 14-year-old girl with distinctive lightened hair with pink streaks. She doesn't hesitate to say what's on her mind, even to people she's just met.

Hinaki Yano voices Momoe Sawaki, a 14-year-old girl with a very distinctive beauty mark and slender body. She is often mistaken for a boy and is popular among the girls.

Staff

Taracod as concept artist, Yuta Yamazaki as assistant director, Yusuke Kawakami as action director, Keisuke Kobayashi as core animator, Iori Hisatake as guest character designer, DE DE MOUSE and Clammbon Mito as soundtrack composers, and 3DCG by Boundary.

Furthermore, the four main voice actresses will sing the anime's theme song under the name "Anemoneria".

Staff previously announced

Shin Wakaba will direct the anime at CloverWorks. Screenwriter Shinji Nojima is credited with the original work; this project marks his first time writing for an anime. Saki Takahashi is the animation designer and also chief animation director, while Hiroyuki Ueno and Nobuhiro Nakayama are the planning producers.

Finally, CloverWorks was part of A-1 Pictures, but they separated in October 2018, although it continues as a subsidiary of Aniplex.
