The anime World Trigger has just confirmed the start of the highly anticipated REBOOT Project, marking a new phase for Daisuke Ashihara. In addition, a teaser visual and a special 15-second video have been released, indicating that the franchise is preparing to resume its activities in full force.
The teaser highlights Yūma Kuga, now equipped with the Black Trigger, advancing through a city at dusk. Meanwhile, the video features the classic "Gate detected" alert, followed by the title "REBOOT," which emerges as a clear sign of renewal. In this way, the production suggests that a new cycle is about to begin.
The story, which follows the confrontation between Border and the invaders known as Neighbors, had three seasons that aired between 2014 and 2022. Furthermore, a mysterious image released on December 1st with the phrase "12.4 REBOOT" increased the suspense among fans.
