Finally, we have the official announcement from Sega about the Yakuza game; it has been revealed that it will be a direct remake of the first game in the Ryū ga Gotoku ( Yakuza ) series for PS3 and PS4.
In addition, SEGA also announced that it is developing a new game in the Ryū ga Gotoku series, tentatively titled Ryū ga Gotoku 6 (Yakuza 6), scheduled for release on PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 remake version will include a demo for Yakuza 6.
