We finally have the official announcement from Sega about the game Yakuza, it was revealed that it will be a direct remake of the first game in the Ryū ga Gotoku ( Yakuza ) series for PS3 and PS4.

Additionally, SEGA also announced that it is developing a new game in the Ryū ga Gotoku series, tentatively titled Ryū ga Gotoku 6 (Yakuza 6), scheduled for release on the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version of the remake will include a demo for Yakuza 6.
