We finally have confirmation from the director, studio, and streaming service HBO Max that Zack Snyder 's version of Justice League  – popularly known as the Snyder Cut – will be released in 2021. The announcement was made after a commentary session of Man of Steel  (2013), which brought together fans and Henry Cavill in a call on the social network Vero .

The film will premiere on the HBO Max streaming service .

During a Q&A session, a Chilean fan was direct and asked the filmmaker if he would release his version of the film. “The truth is, I have no control over that. I've already said it exists and I'm honest about what I did, but the decision isn't mine. If it were my decision, I would have already put it on a pen drive somewhere,” he joked. Everyone understood that the filmmaker had denied a possible release, and the conversation continued.

At one point, fans asked to see the film reel that Snyder had previously shown on social media. “Like I said, I have it here, but we need to find a way to show it someday […] I can’t show the film now, but I can show this,” he said, revealing promotional artwork for the film titled Zack Snyder's Justice League, with the HBO Max logo and a 2021 release date.

Finally, Justice League was released in theaters , grossing approximately US$657 million worldwide.
