The new multimedia project ZERO RISE had its first details revealed during Bushiroad 's 15th anniversary event . The production confirmed an anime TV adaptation and a theatrical version, betting on a different approach by combining sports, social drama, and street basketball.

The story follows young people who have been excluded from professional basketball due to past mistakes or their social background. They find a new chance to start over in the underground world of the sport. In a setting marked by extreme inequality, the clandestine league called Cero Rise becomes the stage for intense and dangerous competition.

Furthermore, all the characters and cast from the anime and the stage show were introduced at once. Groups like UNFIXXX, KINGS+HOOT, RumbleWing[s] , and BLACKSPOT form the core of the narrative, each with well-defined styles and motivations. Meanwhile, the legendary former champion Jigen emerges as the central figure behind the project.

The animation will be handled by the studio Nichicaline, and the stage will premiere in May in Tokyo. Finally, promotional videos are already available on the project's official YouTube channel.
