During the Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2021 event , new details were revealed regarding the adaptation of the light novel In the Land of Leadale ( Leandale no Daichi nite ). According to the event, the adaptation will be a television anime
Furthermore, the studio Maho Film ( I'm Standing on a Million Lives, Uchi no Musume ) will handle the animation, with Takeyuki Yanase (Himegoto) directing .
Synopsis:
The last thing she can remember is that her life support machine started to fail. Her body had suffered terribly after a tragic accident, and the only freedom left in her life came from the VR world in Leadale. How did she end up in a place that looks exactly like her game, except that apparently 200 years have passed?
Finally, the novel In the Land of Leadale by authors Ceez and Tenmaso began publication in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2010 and ended in December 2012. Six chapters after the story's conclusion were later published by Ceez from 2013 to 2019.
