According to the source, the contract in question requires all animators of Jujutsu Kaisen to maintain secrecy about the production. However, it seems that a large part of the team disliked the agreement and took their complaints to the internet.
"I have nothing to lose, so if you want to take me to court for complaining, I accept."
“Silencing the team from talking about how terrible the working conditions are is ironic. I don’t care at this point because, yes, the schedule is beyond awful, the fact that the work is done with any level of competence is incredible. I’m not going to compromise my health for a job that doesn’t cover my rent, much less any other expenses. My main job and my overall well-being mean more to me than the fear of being blacklisted.”
Furthermore, they also claim that the studio's work environment is chaotic, the pay is unfair, and the working hours are excessively harsh. Despite the situation, MAPPA has not released any response to this chaos.
