The anime adaptation of Sparks of Tomorrow ( 20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku ), a work by Hiro Yūki, has received a new promotional video. The material reveals details about the theme songs and confirms the premiere for July 2026.

In addition, the video features the opening theme "Eureka Evrika," performed by Luna Goami. The closing theme will be performed by the band Ginger Root, further enhancing the musical appeal of the production.

The animation is produced by Kyoto Animation, known for works such as Violet Evergarden. Minoru Ōta is directing, marking his first project as lead director. The series' script is by Tatsuhiko Urahata, while Kohei Okamura serves as character designer. The soundtrack is by Hitomi Kotō.

Synopsis

The story takes place in 1907 and follows Inako Momokawa, a young woman facing family conflicts and pressure to marry. Her life changes when she meets Kihachi Sakamoto, a young man who believes in the advancement of electricity. Together, they embark on a quest to find a book called "Electrical Catalog," which could alter Inako's destiny and lead her to make her own decisions.

The anime will premiere on July 5, 2026, and will be streamed globally on Netflix . Additionally, the project will have a world premiere tour with special screenings in different countries. Sparks of Tomorrow is a light novel published by KA Esuma Bunko in 2018.
