After much uncertainty and rumors that the project had been canceled, the live-action Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) is confirmed. The year chosen for the film's release in Japanese theaters remains the same, 2014. Currently , an anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's work is airing in Japan. In addition, the release of an OVA, titled Ilse no Techō, has been announced in conjunction with volume 11 of the manga, which has been published in the pages of Shōnen Magazine since 2009.
