Based on the manga by Toyoda Minoru, Kore Kaite Shine follows high school students dealing with the pressure of producing original stories. The plot focuses on personal growth through art, exploring everything from creative blocks to the satisfaction of completing a page.
The anime production is handled by Shin-Ei Animationis directing Hiroaki Akagi, while Hiroko Fukuda is responsible for series composition and part of the scriptwriting. Akira Sekine voices the protagonist Yasumi Ai in the adaptation.
