NHK announced on Wednesday that the anime Ao no Orchestra (Blue Orchestra), a work by Makoto Akui, will premiere on April 9th .

Synopsis
During his elementary school years, Hajime Aono was considered a violist prodigy; however, he suddenly grew tired of music and stopped playing for personal reasons. Before entering high school, he meets Ritsuko Akine, an energetic violist who tells him about a prestigious school orchestra.
