Bandai Namco has confirmed that the new Super Limit Breaking NEO for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will debut on July 30, 2026.The expansion adds a large package of new content, including classic characters, new game modes, scenarios, and features that enhance the experience of the title released in 2024.

Among the main new features is the Limit Breaker Journey solo mode , in which the player chooses a character to evolve while traversing different regions facing battles. The system uses stamina management, influencing the amount of life available in confrontations. Conversely, more difficult challenges yield more experience and unlock special abilities called Battle Arts, whose attributes can also be used in other game modes.
DLC featuring 33 characters in Sparking! Zero
The DLC brings together 33 playable characters, including Chi-Chi, alternate versions of Goku, Tien , and Piccolo from the original anime, as well as King Piccolo, Mercenary Tao, General Blue, Android 8, Nam, Grandpa Gohan, King Vegeta, Pikkon, Mighty Mask, Supreme Kai, Super Saiyan Bardock, Chilled, Super Android 17, Nuova Shenron, Jaco, Cheelai, Champa, and others. The expansion also includes over 20 customizable costumes, new moves, four new stages, and extra episodes.
Free update expands battles
In addition to the paid content, a free update will add the Sparking! Boost feature, which consumes a larger amount of Skill Stock to unlock a new action, and Chain Blasts, allowing you to switch to reserve allies during combos.
Finally, the game also previously received the Mission 100 mode. Furthermore, it was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and later, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
