It was announced via the Twitter account that the second season of Assassination Classroom will arrive in 2016.
With a total of 22 episodes, the first season premiered in Japan on January 9th and finished airing this week.
The story of the series takes place in Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School, where a very strange figure is introduced: an octopus-shaped monster who, as of today, will be the new teacher. To make matters worse, this monster was responsible for destroying a large part of the moon and intends to do the same to planet Earth in a year.
