While we still have no information about the live-action films of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), Pony Canyon has released the trailer for the first film derived from the anime, recently announced. Titled Shingeki no Kyojin Zenpen ~Guren no Yumiya~ (Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow), the first film, which covers the first 13 episodes of the original series, arrives in Japan on November 22nd.
The anime's official website announced that the film will include a new Training Corps scene with Eren and Jean, which did not air in the original 2013 TV series. The band Linked Horizon will return to perform the opening theme song "Guren no Zahō" (Crimson Coordinates).
The second batch of advance tickets for the film will go on sale on September 13th. Those who purchase tickets during the second advance sales period will receive a personalized set of Eren and Titan Eran rubber bands illustrated by Yuupon.
The 2013 Titans series is being compiled into two films. The second film, Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen ~Jiyū no Tsubasa~ (Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom), will open next year. The new films will feature new dubbing and a 5.1 channel remaster with the return of the voice cast, such as Yuuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman), and Marina Inoue (Armin Arlelt).
The first film will cover episodes 1 to 13, while the second film will cover 14 to 25, once again featuring director Tetsuro Araki at Wit Studio and composer Hiroyuki Sawano.
