The manga Bocchi the Rock!,by Aki Hamaji, will be going on an indefinite hiatus. The announcement was published in the March issue of Manga Time Kirara MAX, released in Japan on January 19th.
According to the author herself, the hiatus is not related to mental health. Hamaji explained that the decision is solely due to her current physical condition. Furthermore, she reaffirmed her commitment to returning with the series at a high level. "I want to deliver an even more fun Bocchi the Rock when I come back," she highlighted in the official statement.

Meanwhile, the resumption date has not yet been set. However, the publisher confirmed that new information will be released directly in upcoming issues of the magazine.
On the other hand, Kirara MAX took advantage of the March issue to present a new feature. The magazine debuts the manga Akumajo Grimoire, by Kari Shibousatsu. The plot follows Ninnon, a young witch who faces problems at magic school after unintentionally summoning a demon as a familiar.
The title had already attracted attention in special editions. Therefore, the serialization marks a promising move by the magazine for the coming months.
