Netflix has released the first trailer for the second season of the animated series Castlevania: Nocturne . The video also reveals the series' premiere date.

Castlevania: Nocturne premiere on January 15, 2025 on the Netflix streaming platform. The story takes place during the French Revolution of 1792.
The first season of Nocturne revolved around Richter overcoming his trauma and taking on the duty of confronting the threats of his world. However, the new series had room for an expansion of the world after the conclusion of the original series.
Synopsis of Castlevania:
France, 1792, at the height of the French Revolution. In a remote region in the west of the country, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy forms an alliance with the terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to "consume the sun" and use an army of vampires and Creatures of the Night to end the revolution and enslave humanity. The sorceress Annette seeks out Richter Belmont, the last descendant of the legendary family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance.
Finally, the anime focuses on Richter Belmont , a descendant of Sypha and Trevor, and is set during the French Revolution (1789-1799), inspired by the games Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night .
