Due to the COVID -19 pandemic , many anime series that were being released had their productions postponed or delayed, such as Nakitai Watashi wa neko wo kaburu , Chibi Miruko-chan , and Major 2nd . But despite the delays, some anime have already completed ( or nearly completed) production .

Some animators have revealed that their work is complete, but not necessarily the entire production, on the following anime:
- BNA: Brand New Animal (animation director Sushio reports that he completed his episodes on February 2nd)
- Tower of God (animators report that they have completed their work)
A team member revealed that the following anime are nearly complete:
- Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 (Animation producer Yasuhito Kikuchi reported "there's still a little more work to be done" on April 16)
