After years of being remembered as one of the most popular shoujo manga of the 2000s, Dengeki Daisy will finally get an anime adaptation . The announcement was made through a teaser website released by Aniplex , confirming that the series will premiere in 2027, produced by Studio Deen .

The original manga, created by Kyousuke Motomi, was published between 2007 and 2013 in the magazine Monthly Betsucomi. To celebrate the adaptation, the author released a special illustration highlighting the protagonists of the work.

Main team revealed
The series will be directed by Sōta Ueno, known for his work on Days With My Stepsister. The scripts will be supervised by Sawako Hirabayashi, who has worked on productions such as Wolf Girl & Black Prince and Delicious Party♡Precure.
Romance and mystery marked the original work
The story follows Teru Kurebayashi, a young woman who loses her older brother and finds comfort in messages sent by a mysterious person named Daisy. The only means of contact between them is a cell phone left by the protagonist's brother. While trying to move on with her life, Teru realizes that Tasuku Kurosaki, a man who always appears when she needs help, may have a much closer connection to Daisy than she imagines.
Finally, with its premiere scheduled for 2027, the anime has the mission of introducing this classic shoujo work to a new generation.
