The official website for the film Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween has released a trailer for what is the 25th film in the franchise. The trailer suggests a confrontation between Conan and King Furuya.

Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween will premiere in Japan on April 15, 2022. Susumu Mitsunaka is directing the film at TMS Entertainment. Takahiro Oukura is writing the screenplay, while Gosho Aoyama is credited with the original work.
The film will feature the following characters: Rei Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda, Wataru Date, Kenji Hagiwara , and Hiromitsu Morofushi. The original creator, Aoyama, had previously hinted that the police academy characters would be "taking the lead" in the 25th film.
Confirmed cast members include: Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa, Wakana Yamazaki as Ran Mouri, Rikiya Koyama as Kogoro Mouri, and Toru Furuya as Touru Amuro.
