Digimon Adventure has received a new trailer coinciding with its release in Brazil via the streaming platform Crunchyroll.
The series will begin airing on April 5th.
The synopsis for the new Digimon Adventure anime :
It's the year 2020. The Network has become indispensable to human life. But what they don't know is that, behind the Network, lies a world of light and darkness known as the Digital World, inhabited by Digimon. When Taichi Yagami tries to save his mother and sister, who are aboard a runaway train, he steps onto the platform… and a strange phenomenon transports him to the Digital World. He and other DigiDestined meet their Digimon partners and embark on an adventure in an unknown world!”
Just like in Japan, Digimon Adventure will be broadcast weekly in Brazil, with original Japanese audio and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.
Launched in 1999, Digimon follows a group of children and their warrior monsters in a virtual world, where they battle evil forces. Since then, the franchise has spawned animated series, films, and games.
