New volume brings together recent chapters
The new collected edition will include chapters 401 to 410, published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between issues 45 of 2024 and 2 of 2025. Volume 38 was released in September 2024, compiling the story up to chapter 400. Since then, Togashi has shared frequent updates on the progress of the work through his social media.

In December 2024, the author revealed that he had completed the storyboards for two more chapters. Prior to that, in March 2023, he had already confirmed the completion of chapter 401 and subsequently showed progress related to chapter 405.
Togashi's health schedule has changed
The series went on hiatus in January 2023 due to health problems faced by Yoshihiro Togashi. However, at the time, Shueisha reported that, after speaking with the mangaka, it had decided to abandon the traditional weekly serialization model for the work. Since then, new chapters have been published as the author's working conditions allowed.
Originally released in 1998, Hunter x Hunter has become one of the industry's most popular franchises, spawning anime adaptations, films, OVAs, and stage plays. Meanwhile, the brand continues to expand its presence into other media, including the games Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor and Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact.
