The anime I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike) has revealed a new promotional video confirming its premiere date of July 3rd. In addition to the date, the trailer showcases the opening and ending theme songs for the adaptation based on the light novel by Ezogingitune and DeeCHA.

New music and early release
The opening theme will be “Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku,” performed by the band sajou no hana. The ending theme will be performed by the group MEISHOHIKOKAI with the song “Ari Kitari na Nichijo to Koun na Hibi e.” The promotional video offers a preview of both songs, which will accompany the protagonist Luck on his journey.
The anime will first arrive on Amazon Prime Video on July 3rd. It will then be available on ABEMA ed Anime Store services on July 6th, the same date as its broadcast on Japanese TV. The release had been planned for April, but was postponed to ensure a more polished production.
The story follows a hero who became a legend
The story follows Luck, an adventurer who decides to face demonic hordes alone to allow his companions to escape. Against all odds, he survives for ten years in continuous combat and returns as a true legend.
The adaptation is being produced by Studio Gekkō, directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe, known for Viper's Creed. Mitsutaka Hirota is handling the scripts, while Majiro is responsible for character designs. The main cast includes Gakuto Kajiwara, Yui Ishikawa, Toshiyuki Morikawa, and MAO.
Franchise continues to grow
The light novel began publication in 2019 and will reach its eighth volume in July. Additionally, the manga adaptation published by Square Enix has already reached 19 compiled volumes. Combined, the two versions have over 4.45 million copies in circulation.
