Jujutsu Kaisen 0 – Movie has the 2nd biggest opening in Japan

The recent film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 had the second- highest opening weekend in Japanese cinemas. According to information from TOHO, the production grossed just over 2.6 billion yen (approximately US$23.5 million) in its first three days and sold 1.9 million tickets.

Therefore, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is only surpassed by Demon Slayer – Mugen Train: The Movie.

Synopsis:

The story features Yuta Okkotsua nervous student suffering from a serious problem —his childhood friend Rika has turned into a curse and won't leave him alone. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the curse that haunts him?

Finally, the Jujutsu Kaisen anime premiered on October 2, 2020, with 24 episodes.
