The official website for the anime Kaiju No. 8 has announced the trailer and release date for episode 3 of season 2. The animation is being handled by Production IG.
episode Kaiju No. 8 has been given a title and details, corresponding to the second episode (episode 15) of the new season. Titled "The Strongest Unit," the episode will air this Saturday, August 2nd , 2025, at 11 PM (Japan time) on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
Kaiju No. 8 Synopsis:
Japan has the highest rate of monster sightings in the world, suffering invasions every day. In the past, Kafka Hibino aspired to be part of the Defense Forces, but currently works for a company specializing in cleaning up the remnants of battles fought with monsters. But one day, the young man's body is transformed by a mysterious creature and he receives the codename "Kaiju no.".
Therefore, the author Naoya Matsumoto launched the manga in July 2020 on the Shonen Jump+, from the famous publisher Shueisha. Furthermore, the first season of the anime premiered on April 13, 2024.
