The anime Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai (I Don't Know Why but the Next Duke Who Said) has had its premiere confirmed for July on Japanese TV. The work, based on the manga by Natsu Mizuno and the light novel by Kei Misawa, is being produced by studios Zero-G and Liber.
Popularly known as Kimi Ai, the plot features Elsa, a bankrupt noblewoman played by Yui Ishikawa, and the aristocrat Julius, voiced by Soma Saito.
The project is directed by Hitoyuki Matsui, while Tomoko Konparu is writing the script. In this way, the team seeks to convey the essence of the romantic comedy that has won over readers in Japan.

Furthermore, the character design is by Yuko Yahiro, ensuring visual fidelity to the original material. The plot focuses on the contract marriage between Elsa and Julius, which evolves into genuine feelings.
