Finally, some news has arrived regarding the live-action adaptation of the One Piece manga and anime, announced here in July . This time, the producer responsible for the adaptation, Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf), reassured fans in an interview about the weight of the responsibility of the adaptation.
Adelstein's commentary on One Piece:

I will do everything in my power to make the 'One Piece' TV series an absolute success. I expect this to be one of the most expensive shows ever made for television; the worldwide interest is tremendous and it will be worth the financial commitment.
Thus, the great work authored by Eiichiro Oda, in Brazil the manga was released in an initial version by Conrad, but it ended up being canceled at volume 70, which corresponded to the original volume 35.
Finally, the title was restarted by Panini in February 2012, who began the series again from volume 1 and also from the point where Conrad had left off.
