The anime Machikado Mazoku will get a second season

The anime Machikado Mazoku ( The Demon Girl Next Door ), inspired by the manga of the same name by Izumo Ito, will get a second season.

Furthermore, the news was confirmed by the manga, and TBS released a promotional video and visual for the announcement.

The announcement of the new season was made in Manga Time Kirara Carat when it was published on Friday.

Synopsis

Yuuko Yoshida, a 15-year-old girl, one morning woke up with demonic powers and was tasked with defeating the local magical girl. She has horns and a tail, but is actually weaker than an ordinary girl.

Staff

Hiroaki Sakurai directed the anime at JC Staff. Keiichiro Ochi ( Hinamatsuri , Gotoubun no Hanayome ) supervised the script, and Mai Otsuka did the character design.

The first season of the anime aired between July and September 2019, with Sentai Filmworks licensing the anime and HIDIVE streaming it in Japan.

Finally, Machikado Mazoku by author Izumi Ito launched in Manga Time Kirara Carat in September 2014. The publisher Hobunsha released the fifteenth volume in June 2019, bringing the total to 5 volumes to date.
