My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Maplestar recently revealed its full-length 18+ animation inspired by Solo Leveling, and the project quickly gained traction on social media. The independent project took a considerable amount of time to complete and, according to Maplestar, emerged as a way to explore creative ideas involving popular characters from the game.

Furthermore, the person in charge highlighted that the work went through several animation stages before reaching the current result. Even though it's an old project, started before the artist's other productions, he states that he was satisfied with the final result and the initial public reception.

The animation's construction is based on concepts that Maplestar has been developing for some time. He also commented that he intends to apply new techniques recently learned in possible sequels, which could further elevate the project's level.

Another interesting point is that the video includes a final segment with a lighter and more humorous tone, something that generated comments among viewers. Even so, the author emphasized that this part does not indicate any kind of direct sequel with the same premise.

It's worth remembering that the animator worked extensively on his previous animation, titled Marin x Gojo.

Possible continuation in the future

Finally, there is the possibility of a sequel, as the creator has revealed having some ideas in mind. However, there has been no official confirmation so far, leaving the future of the project open.
