It's now official: during the second event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon, the girls from the Momoiro Clover Z announced a new anime adaptation that will air during the winter, scheduled to begin in December in Japan and run until March 2014.
The spoken word group will be responsible for the new opening and ending themes of the new series. In addition to the already defined themes, it has also been confirmed that the original voice actors will participate in the new anime. In April, the manga editor, Fumio Osano, revealed on his Twitter that the premiere of the new series had been postponed.
The new Sailor Moon anime was announced in July 2012, during the first special event to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary. In other words, this new series will not be a remake Naoko Takeuchi 's work and features significant modifications.
