The battle of Scopper vs Sommers
Right off the bat, we return to the battle between Scopper Gaban and the Holy Knight Saint Shepherd Ju Peter Sommers. Gaban shows why he was a legend alongside Roger: with masterful use of Haki and his dual axes, he tears Sommers to pieces. Despite this, the Knight remains alive, but, to everyone's surprise, he is unable to regenerate.
Gunko faces Colon
Meanwhile, Gunko confronts Colon and threatens to kill him if Gaban doesn't surrender. To save his ally, Gaban gives himself up. Gunko, still under external influence, stabs him and throws him from the tree, in one of the most impactful scenes of the chapter.
The pace shifts when we enter a flashback to Brook, revealing that he knew Gunko long before he became a pirate. The connection between the two is deep, and this memory causes Gunko to regain control of his own mind, attempting to free Brook from prison.
But the calm doesn't last long.
Gunko is dominated by Imu
Gunko's body is seized by none other than Imu, who explodes in fury. The sovereign of the world shows impatience with the slowness of the Holy Knights, as the Holy Land is in flames and under attack.
The chapter ends with Imu declaring menacingly:
"Mu will show how a god rules the world."
This final sentence makes it clear that a new phase—an even darker one—is about to begin.
