The May issue of Bessatsu Margaret is announcing that author Ayuko Hatta's manga, Ookami Shoujo To Kuro Ouji (Wolf Girl & Black Prince), will be getting an anime adaptation.
The story of the original manga revolves around Erika Shinohara , a 16-year-old girl who lied to her friends about having a boyfriend, showing them a picture of an anonymous guy who turned out to be a classmate and was quickly recognized by her friends. Their conversations were then overheard by the boy, Sata Kyouya. Erika needed to explain the situation to him and propose the idea of them being pretend boyfriend and girlfriend.
Hatta launched the manga in Bessatsu in 2011, and Shueisha published the eighth volume last December. The manga inspired a novel and a drama CD.
