Brazilian voice actor Fábio Lucindo revealed that work on the 16th season of the anime, titled Pokémon BW: Adventures in Unova (Pokémon: Best Wishes! Season 2: Episode N), is well underway at Centauro. Approximately 16 episodes have already been dubbed (the last one being "The Light of Floccesy Ranch!"). Lucindo also announced that Robson Kumode (Sasuke in Naruto) will be voicing N in this new arc. It began airing in February in the United States on Cartoon Network. The story takes place shortly after the group thwarted Team Rocket's plans. Now possessing 8 badges, Ash is ready to enter the Unova League, where he will battle new and old rivals. Last month, Pokémon Best Wishes! Season 2: Decolora Adventure!, the most recent arc of the anime and potentially the last in the Best Wishes saga, premiered in Japan. Meanwhile, here in Brazil, Cartoon Network has quietly begun airing the 15th season of the series, titled Pokémon BW: Rival Destinies. As always, the premiere was significantly delayed, something that has become a tradition for the channel, and the same pattern is expected to be adopted with Adventures in Unova.
