Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage will have a total of 10 episodes

The official website for the Ranking of Kings (Ousama Ranking) manga by Sosuke Toka revealed on Friday that the Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage (Ousama Ranking: Yuki no Takarabako) anime will have 10 episodes in total and will be released on two Blu-ray discs and DVD boxes on July 5 and September 6.

Additionally, it's worth noting that the new anime's staff has described it as a "special episode" since its original announcement. As such, the anime premiered on April 13th on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block.

The anime tells a story not seen in the original anime, and features a returning cast and crew. PEOPLE 1 performs the opening theme song "GOLD," while singer Aimer sings the ending theme song "Atemonaku."

The Ranking of Kings anime premiered in October 2021 and ran for two continuous cours (quarters of a year).

Synopsis

Son of giants, expectations that Prince Bojji would be a great king are dashed when the kingdom encounters a small, mute king with no talent for swordplay. But a fateful encounter completely changes his destiny. Accompanied by Kage, a shadow on the ground, Bojji sets out on an adventure of self-discovery and severe challenges. Ultimately, will Bojji be able to prove his worth to the kingdom by becoming a great king?
