The new adaptation of Ranma 1/2 received a second trailer for its 3rd season during the MAPPA studio's 15th anniversary special event . The video features new scenes from the continuation, which will arrive on Japanese TV in October of this year.

The team returns for a new phase of the anime

Kōnosuke Uda continues directing the series at MAPPA, retaining most of the staff responsible for previous seasons. However, among the new additions, Riko Kaneda and Haruki Miura join the group of chief animation directors.

Furthermore, Masahiro Kurio returns as lead animator. Atsuko Ishida, who worked on the classic 1989 anime, will also join the production. The continuity of the team reinforces the commitment to maintaining the visual identity presented since the remake's premiere.

The exhibition follows a partnership with Netflix

The third season will air on NTV in Japan starting in October. After the TV broadcast, the episodes will be exclusively available worldwide on Netflix, repeating the strategy adopted in previous seasons.

Based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, Ranma 1/2 follows the unusual situations experienced by Ranma Saotome, a young martial artist who transforms into a girl upon contact with cold water. The work remains one of the author's most popular titles, who is also responsible for successes such as Inuyasha and Urusei Yatsura.

With the release of the new trailer, expectations now lie in the confirmation of more characters and arcs that will be adapted in the next phase of the series. Finally, keep following AnimeNews for more news about anime, manga, and the season's releases.
