The new film Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Soukai no Namida-hen (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), produced by Studio 8bit, has revealed a new teaser focused on the antagonist Zodon. Played by Koichi Domoto, the character plans to conquer the world by awakening the Water Dragon through the powers of the priestess Yura.

Actor Koichi Domoto returns to voice acting after 20 years to bring to life a villain with a deep and imposing voice. Therefore, this change in artistic profile brought a freshness to the production, as the artist explored vocal tones never before seen in his career. Meanwhile, the protagonist Rimuru Tempest faces massive dragon attacks to restore peace to the region.

Production and premiere in Brazil

The direction of Tensei Slime (Isekai) remains under the command of Yasuhito Kikuchi, ensuring fidelity to the universe created by Fuse. Furthermore, the monster designs and concept art have been enhanced for the cinematic screen.

Finally, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Azure Sea premieres in Brazilian cinemas on April 30, 2026.
