The second season of Saga of Tanya the Evil II (Yōjo Senki II) received a new main trailer this Wednesday, featuring never-before-seen scenes from the continuation and highlighting the series' theme songs. However, the video presents the opening theme "Why? RED induction," performed by MYTH&ROID, as well as the ending theme "Weiter! Weiter!", sung by Tanya Degurechaff voiced by Aoi Yuuki.

Furthermore, the production confirmed the addition of Eiji Hanawa to the cast as Colonel Virginio Calandro. The anime premieres in Japan on July 8, 2026 on the channels AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11 and TV Aichi.
Therefore, a new season of the mini-anime "Yōjo Shenki 2" will be shown after each episode on AT-X and will also be available on Kadokawa's official YouTube channel.
War and reincarnation
The story of Saga of Tanya the Evil follows Tanya Degurechaff, a young military officer known as the "Demon of the Rhine." Despite her childlike appearance, she carries the memories of a former Japanese official reincarnated in a world marked by armed conflict and magical battles. To survive, Tanya uses her strategic intelligence and combat skills on the battlefields.
The team returns with changes
Saga of Tanya the Evil will be directed by Takayuki Yamamoto at Studio NuT, replacing Yutaka Uemura. Kenta Ihara returns as script supervisor, while Yuji Hosogoe resumes character design and chief animation direction. The main cast also returns, including Aoi Yuuki, Saori Hayami, Shinichiro Miki, and Haruka Tomatsu.
Originally created by Carlo Zen and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki , the light novel series began in 2013 and already has 14 published volumes. The franchise also has a manga adaptation , a TV anime, and a film released in 2019.
